We are writing to inform you that the Runkeeper app will be removed from the App Store in China mainland on September 15, 2020. If the app is currently installed on your device, it will remain available on that device unless it is deleted. However, the app will no longer be available to download or reinstall, and any problems you may encounter in the app will not be resolved. We are sorry to deliver this news, as we know it will impact many of you who have used our app.

This decision was not made lightly, but we know that the Runkeeper app experience in China mainland does not meet the quality standards of our other services. We feel it’s best to step away from this offering until we are ready to develop a product that provides the best experience to our user base in China mainland.
